SDL-USU Technical Interchange

November 12, 2026 & January 21, 2027

The SDL-USU Technical Interchange expo-style events are for USU faculty and SDL staff (restricted to US citizens) to foster understanding of each organization’s capabilities, expertise, and research needs while strengthening ongoing connections. At the events, USU faculty or SDL staff will share research in any stage: concept, design, development, prototype, or demonstration.

USU faculty benefits:

  • Expedited connections with SDL staff
  • Possible opportunities with SDL and research credit through the Kuali system
  • Faculty-to-faculty networking, leading to potential on-campus collaborations

First Event: USU Research

  • USU faculty member or team shares their research
  • SDL leadership, program managers, and staff attend

Second Event: SDL Research

Thursday January 21, 2027
3:30–5:00 PM

  • SDL staff shares their strategic thrust areas or research needs
  • USU leadership, faculty, and students working for faculty attend
