Automatic Target Recognition (ATR)
ATR algorithms have historically suffered from unacceptably high false alarms rates that limit their tactical utility to intelligence analysts. SDL provides fully automated and human assisted detection algorithms to aid analysts in identifying objects of interest within ISR data. The human/machine partnership takes advantage of the computational superiority of the algorithms and the cognitive ability of the human to increase probability of detection, reduce false alarms, and reduce time to detection.

Fusion, Exploitation, Algorithm, Targeting High-Altitude Reconnaissance
Under the FEATHAR program, SDL developed enhanced integrated multi‐intelligence sensor systems and fusion processing algorithms for multiple‐networked ISR platforms to identify, geo‐locate, and track enemy targets.
