SDL has put many of its own electronics payloads in space, on board ships and in high tech labs across the country. The EAL is in assembling a one of a kind or a producing small production of high reliability boards built.

Cable & Harness Assembly
USU’s Space Dynamics Lab has a rich history of high quality cable and harness production.
Beginning in 1970 as the Electro-Dynamics Lab and changing to Space Dynamics Lab in 1982. The Lab built the (Cirris 1A) instrument. This observing instrument collected some of the most accurate measurements of infrared emissions of the upper atmosphere. The lab also produces a ground visualization system for the next generation tactical reconnaissance system (NAVIS). As well as electrical charge monitors for the international space station (FPMU). And many more. All this is due to the skills and training of our team.

With over 35 years experience integrating electronic equipment, we provide service integrating the finished PCB into the final assembly. Having built many high quality instruments SDL has successfully tested and proved the skill of each technician at SDL. Going the extra mile is our motto.
