Tactical Sensors

The Tactical Sensors branch focuses on cutting–edge technologies for small sensor payload systems for use in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). These sensors consolidate the full feature set of much larger systems within the restricted space and ruggedization requirements of tactical UAVs. All sensors have Ethernet interfaces and can be controlled in real–time from a ground station. All data products are NITF 2.1 compliant for rapid exploitation. A suite of these UAV–centric sensors with complementary capability can be connected for automatic data fusion and real–time cross cueing. Sample sensors include NuSAR and EyePod.
