Governor Appoints
SDL'S Cliff Holle as State Science Advisor

--Governor Leavitt has recently appointed Cliff Holle, Business Development
Manager of the Space Dynamics Laboratory as Utah's delegate to the Aerospace
States Association (ASA).
"I am very grateful
to Governor Leavitt for providing me the opportunity to serve the State of
Utah in this capacity," said Holle.
ASA is a scientific and
educational organization of governor-appointed delegates. These delegates
are organized from over forty states and the District of Columbia. It strives
to promote a state-based perspective in federal aerospace policy development.
It also supports state aerospace initiatives that enhance student/teacher
education outreach and economic development opportunities
"Holle's experience
with the Space Dynamics Laboratory at Utah State University ensures that he
will provide a valuable state-based perspective in the federal aerospace policy
development in which ASA is involved," said Governor Leavitt.
"ASA's vision for
new and innovative space-based education initiatives and their efforts to
encourage aerospace-based economic development are quite exciting," said
Holle "My aim is to assist in bringing Utah's unique aerospace-related
capabilities to the national forefront and bring home new partnership and
development opportunities."
