PR Specialist and
Education Outreach Coordinator Hired at SDL
The
Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is pleased to announce that Trina Paskett
has joined the company as Public Relations (PR) Specialist and Education Outreach
Coordinator. As such, she performs a wide range of duties including media
relations, marketing, advertising and the coordination and implementation
of education and public outreach programs.
Paskett began her work
at SDL as a student employee where she developed and began implementing a
marketing PR plan and was involved with NASA's outreach program for the Geostationary
Imaging Fourier Transform Spectrometer (GIFTS), an advanced weather satellite
for which SDL is developing the primary instrumentation. She also coordinated
SDL's involvement with Utah Space Week, where SDL employees introduced over
1,200 sixth graders to global positioning systems. Paskett served as the PR
intern for the Rocky Mountain NASA Space Grant Consortium this past school
year and worked as a PR intern for USU's Athletic Media Relations office for
three years.
A 2001 Cum Laude graduate
of USU, Paskett received her BS in Communication with an emphasis in PR and
a minor in marketing.
