Technical Writer hired at Space Dynamics Lab

Shelley DyerThe Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is pleased to announce the hiring of Shelley Dyer as a Technical Writer. She is currently responsible for documentation required on the Tactical Input Segment (TIS) Screener Processor Element (SPE) program.

Dyer worked as a technical writer for SDL prior to pursuing a career in civil engineering. Her most recent work experience before rejoining SDL was as a civil engineer for the City of Logan. She received her B.S in Civil Engineering from Utah State University (USU). Dyer is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

The SPE is part of a Navy shipboard system responsible for processing and screening imagery from tactical reconnaissance aircraft. The SPE is the latest project based on SDL's data compression and visualization experience.
