Summer Internships

The Space Dynamics Laboratory is offering science and engineering internships at its facility in Logan, Utah for the summer of 2014. The internship will last approximately 3 months and will provide students with opportunities to work on professional-level assignments that complement their academic studies. The internship includes a competitive stipend, with travel and housing allowances if necessary. There are various projects available, requiring expertise in the following areas:

  • C++ programming
  • Mechanical engineering; structural and thermal analysis
  • Mechanical design (Solid Edge)
  • Optical engineering (ZMAX, Code V, OSLO)
  • Data analysis software (IDL, MATLAB, MathCad)
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Materials science, chemistry, or physics
