Tomorrow Ph.D. FellowshipsThe Utah State University (USU) Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is pleased to offer Tomorrow Ph.D. Fellowships to support research related to SDL’s strategic science and technology interests. It is open to students in the colleges of engineering, science, natural resources and agriculture. Each fellowship carries either an annual stipend of $30,000 and is renewable for up to three years or an annual stipend of $25,000 for up to four years. The type of fellowship is determined by qualifications and negotiation with supervising professor and the student’s department. For the 2009-2010 academic year SDL expects to award one Tomorrow Fellowship. The application packet is due April 30, 2009. After that date, fellowships will begin to be evaluated and awarded. Once available fellowships have been awarded, no further applications will be considered for the coming academic year. Tomorrow Fellows are competitively selected based upon applicants’ scholastic achievements and potential contributions to the key research thrusts listed below.
