ConferencesThe Annual AIAA/Utah State University Conference on Small Satellites11-14 August 2008This annual gathering of the small satellite community provides a forum for government, industry and academia to review recent successes, explore new directions, and introduce emerging technologies in small spacecraft development. The Annual Conference on Characterization and Radiometric Calibration for Remote Sensing25-28 August 2008The SDL-hosted Conference on Characterization and Radiometric Calibration for Remote Sensing has expanded in scope and changed its name to include characterization and radiometric issues in the Microwave, IR, visible, and UV spectrums. This event provides a forum for those engaged in the calibration and evaluation of infrared radiometric sensors to discuss calibration issues pertinent to environmental and defense needs. The Annual EO/IR Calibration and Characterization Workshop18-20 March 2008This working workshop on EO/IR calibration and characterization activities is sponsored by the Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) of Utah State University and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), in partnership with Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Alliant Technologies, and SENSIAC. This workshop forum will be used to discuss current calibration and characterization activities and lessons learned. Breakout sessions will address specific issues of interest to the community. ASIC3 Workshop16-18 May 2006The ASIC3 workshop is a follow-on workshop to the meeting titled "Satellite Instrument Calibration for Measuring Global Climate Change" that was held in November 2002 at College Park, MD. The workshop is sponsored by NIST/ USMS and other government agencies such as NOAA, NASA and NPOESS and is being organized by Space Dynamics Laboratory of Utah State University. The primary objective of the ASIC3 workshop will be to formulate a national roadmap for a calibration system that will allow us to achieve the requirements associated with the monitoring of long-term global climate change. Workshop attendance is by invitation only. |
