Calibration and Optical Research Laboratory
Dedicated in November 2002, the Calibration
and Optical Research Laboratory is a 43,000-square foot facility which houses
SDL's calibration and electro-optical research and development laboratory. In
addition to offices and conference rooms, this facility features the following:
- SDL's Thermal and Optical Research (THOR) chamber

- A 300-seat auditorium
Technological improvements and increased research space
provide a foundation that enables SDL to continue to promote its sensor development,
calibration and testing expertise, and to provide improved services to government
and industry.
